Things to know

What is a Megaformer workout?

Megaformer training is a high-intensity, low-impact full-body workout performed on a specialised spring-loaded machine designed by Sebastien Lagree. It combines slow, controlled movements with resistance to challenge strength, core stability and muscular endurance.

Is Megaformer the same as Reformer Pilates?

No. Although both use spring-loaded equipment, Megaformer training is a distinct workout. It focuses on high-intensity muscular effort through slow movements, sustained resistance and transitions between exercises.

Do I need any experience to join a class?

No previous Megaformer experience is needed. Your instructor will introduce you to the equipment and guide you through the movements. Classes are challenging, so check the class descriptions when choosing your first session.

What does low impact mean?

Low impact means the workout avoids jumping and repeated landing forces. It doesn’t mean low intensity—expect sustained muscular effort and a challenging full-body session.

Can I attend if I have an injury or medical condition?

Please contact us before booking to discuss class suitability. Megaformer training is high intensity, and low impact does not mean it is suitable for every injury or medical condition.
